I STILL DESIRE A COLORLESS SPRING

Trudging my way through courses. Most of my classes are on the opposite side of campus, which is close to a 30 min walk. I've been craving a cute little companion in the form of either a Schnoodle or Sphynx Cat (I'm allergic to pets of all kinds, including my fur trimmed coat) to walk around with me on these long days. Dressing up makes it a little more bearable; it makes life more fun when your dress is flowing behind you and playing with your legs as you go from place to place.

Today, I was finally able to see more of Northern California. Besides San Francisco and my usual haunting grounds (Berkeley, Walnut Creek, cities by the Bay), I hadn't seen any other parts of where my love calls home. We drove over to pick up our friend and went to Davis to try out some all you can eat sushi that our friends had been raving about. Unfortunately, I would have much rather paid the $15 dollars on something else, but the trip was fun. It made me laugh when I realized that Davis resides in Yolo county; of course we had to grab some fro-yo from Yolo Berry Cafe right in front of Yolo Park. Just kidding about the park name, it was called Central Park but wouldn't Yolo have been a better name?

We took these pictures on some bike/hiking trails in Rockville Park. Hikers commented on my heels as they passed by, joking that they were perfect for hiking.

My days have been pretty simple this past week. I wake up around 9:30am to move my car (I've been street parking and Berkeley is pretty strict with parking). We'll either go adventure to get food, or we'll make some with the huge mountain of groceries we've piled up. He's been pretty encouraging to me about putting up new pictures on the blog so I've had more motivation to do so.

The more pictures I take for the blog, the more I realize how seemingly normal it is for me to pose and snap pictures at random locations. I used to be afraid and timid when people were around to see me take pictures, but I don't care as much anymore.

Back in the Bay Area now and trying to dedicate myself to this blog more! Dyed my hair red[der] during the break and brought my car up so now I can go explore places before school starts. This has been the coldest winter I have experienced in California so I have been hiding under my covers near my heater.

Knee highs and boots have been my go-to outfit lately. I'm heading back up to my home in Berkeley to spend some time with the boy and explore the bay area [I'm finally bringing my car up!]. It's about 10 degrees colder up in NorCal than here in SoCal so I'm going to have to figure out how to dress warmly again. Or learn how to be cold-blooded so it doesn't matter how many layers I have on.
